New Erebus Boss Fight
The Echidna is a late-game boss that can appear instead of the Hydra variants. Depending on the narrative, it can pose as a foe or an eventual friend to Zagreus.
The fight takes place in Erebus and consists of four phases and two main actors, the Echidna herself and her snake-headed tail. The Echidna wields magic and summons known wretches that appear with a modified behavior, while the Snake uses poison and brute force to attack Zagreus.
This is a draft for the final One Pager, a concept that is supposed to show where which information is going to be displayed, rather than a clean graphic with all text written out and all final images.
The information and images for the attack call-outs can be found in the FDD and Engineer Document though.
Summary Echidna
The Echidna ["She-Viper"] is also known as the mother of monsters. Some of her known off-spring are the Cerberus, the Hydra, and the Gorgons who would be the parents of the famous three Gorgon sisters.In some records, the Echidna is said to be immortal, while in others she was killed on Hera's orders. Her spouse Typhon was killed by Zeus and sent directly to Tartarus.
